Brain Cortex Mapping (BCM)

What is brain cortex mapping (MCP)

During surgery, the brain cortex can be mapped by means of a multipolar arrays of electrodes, positioned on the cortical surface. They can be used for stimulation or recording and are designed to follow the complex anatomy of the brain and to inform the surgeon the best innocuous site for the surgical approach.
